Field of research:
I am interested in the reconstruction of past climate change along major climate transitions on different regional and temporal scales. This includes studying the (in)stability of the Antarctic Ice Sheet and what the inferred dynamics tell us about future ice-sheet and climate development. I am also working on the reconstruction of the Bengal Fan depositional history and fan architecture.
